In the grinding machine (see figure A) the fabric is rubbed against one or more rollers (fig.
A, 1) coated with emery paper with a grain suitable for the desired result.
Contact can take place in two ways, called:
thickness (fig. B)
in contact (fig. C).
There are machines with one or more grinding cylinders, which, generally, act on the right, with the
possibility of adding another cylinder for the reverse.
